Asian Sizzle
Ingredients:
- Portobello Mushrooms
- Green & Yellow Squash
- Red & Green Bell Peppers
- Red Onion
- Micro Greens
- Fresh Garlic
- Stir Fry Sauce
- Salt & Pepper
How to make the salad:
Dice the vegetables keeping them large and chunky. On a grill or wok add a dash of toasted sesame seed oil and the vegetables and saute for a minute. Add the seasonings and stir fry sauce and continue sauteing until browned but still crisp.
This is best served warm with a side of micro greens, as shown, or steamed rice for a heartier meal.
There are always days when you want a hot, healthy meal that takes 5 minutes and uses one pan !
well this is that dish, using fresh vegetables and micro greens you have a quick and complete salad meal. If you don't have the vegetables listed you can play around with others that work just as well, cauliflower (but steam it first ), thinly sliced japanese eggplant or finely shredded cabbage.
Even on the fence about salad eaters will enjoy this.
